The Sharma family in a leafy Glen Eira park

Looking after the place we call home

A Glen Eira family, putting a bit of energy back into the streets around us.

We’re the Sharmas

A family in [CONFIRM: suburb] — in among the local schools, the footy sidelines and the [CONFIRM: Centre Road / Koornang Road] shops like everyone else.

We’re not experts at any of this. We just reckon the measure of a family is what it puts back into the street it lives on — and we’re trying to raise our kids to think the same way.

A fair go

Everyone here deserves a fair crack — no matter where they started or what street they live on.

handshake

Looking after your street

Lending a hand to a neighbour, turning up to the working bee. That’s just what you do.

park

Leaving it better

Greener, leafier streets and more room to breathe — so the next lot of kids get the shade.

What we’re working on

Small, local, and alongside the groups already doing the heavy lifting.

In the works

The Aussie Sharmas Foundation

This is something we’re building, not something we’ve finished. The idea is simple: back the local groups already doing good work around Glen Eira — food relief, kids and sport, older neighbours who’d otherwise be on their own. When it’s properly up and running, we’ll say so plainly here.

Stay in the loop

A few times a year we share local goings-on — a working bee worth coming along to, or a Council consultation worth having your say on. We email rarely. One click to leave, no hard feelings.
